Here I’m taking on their sandwich challenge! For this sandwich challenge I had to choose three specialty sandwiches (1.5 lbs each) from their menu. Each sandwich is also stuffed with fries and coleslaw! If I was able to eat all three sandwiches under an hour I would get one sandwich free and a shirt. If I could complete the food challenge under 30 minutes though, I would get all three sandwiches free! This sandwich challenge challenge was also featured on Man V. Food, where Adam Richmond attempted and completed the challenge in about 25 minutes! Food Challenge Strategy – I didn’t have much of a strategy going into this food challenge, which probably contributed to my poor performance. I forget what the first two sandwiches I ordered were, but I know it was definitely a mistake getting the pastrami sandwich (or at least saving it for last) because it was very hard to chew! Normal drink setup as well (water, lemonade, diet coke) Food Challenge Review – I absolutely loved every bite of Lucky’s Sandwich Challenge! Even when I was fighting with the final sandwich, each and every bite was delicious! The rules & prizes for this challenge are also favorable for those who attempt it. I highly recommend giving these sandwiches a try, whether it’s for the challenge or not! I do plan on attempting this challenge again because I know I could have finished under 30 minutes with a better strategy and by not completing it under that time only makes it feel like half of a win.
