Rather than being afraid of salt, I now actively incorporate sodium into my daily diet, eating three or four teaspoons of salt every day.  Whilst this quantity of salt consumption isn\'t in line with government nutritional recommendations, I have overcome extreme exhaustion and feel much more energetic in my day-to-day life. Most significantly, I have completely overcome carb cravings. This may be because I was suffering with chronic salt depletion and \'internal starvation\'.
