'These salmon fritters are great when I\'m running low on fresh ingredients. I\'ve made this with powdered ranch seasoning before, but I didn\'t have any, so I used za\'atar. I was a little worried that za\'atar might be a bit too sophisticated for my little one\'s taste, but my toddler actually enjoyed them. These fritters are great for blw (baby-led weaning) as well. Salmon is an excellent choice for babies and young toddlers for its low mercury content. Subscribe for more Kid-friendly easy food inspiration and recipes. Drain water from canned salmon. Add salmon in a bowl with all other ingredients. Mix well. 2. Heat a nonstick pan with cooking oil covering the bottom of the pan. Form salmon mixture into patties with your hands and place them on the pan. 4. Cook until fritters turn golden brown and crispy on both sides. I prefer to use medium heat and cook a little longer to get the onions cooked. Fritters will turn sweeter as onions cook completely. #shorts healthy toddler food, kid-friendly food'
