'Pears and Creme Fraiche make this easy and delicious cake extra moist and flavorful. You can use sour cream in place of creme fraiche. It is a French inspired recipe and one of my favorite cakes to make! #SuperTastyBites INGREDIENTS 113 grams (1/2 cup - 8Tbs) unsalted butter - softened 3/4 cup granulated sugar - + 1/4 cup for top of cake 2 lg eggs - room temperature 1 tsp. Vanilla extract 1 1/3 cups of all purpose flour (I used Einkorn flour - either is fine) 1 1/4 tsp. Baking powder 1/4 tsps. fine salt 1/2 cup creme fraiche or sour cream 2 to 3 ripe- but firm pears. Use pears that are best for baking like D\'Anjour or Commice pears. Pre- heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit prepare a 9 inch round baking pan by lightly greasing and lining bottom with parchment paper. Follow instructions in video how to prepare batter and pears. Bake at 350 F for about 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and toothpick inserted comes out clean. Hope you give this recipe a try and thank you for watching and supporting Super Tasty Bites!'
