'K.V.M Senior Secondary School, Haldwani \"Cooking with kids is not just about ingredients, recipes and cooking. It\'s harnessing, empowerment and creativity\". Under the presence of teachers, a Fireless Cooking Interhouse Competition was organized for the students of classes VI to VIII on the 29th of November, 2022 at the premises of KVM Public School. To provide a platform for the students to foster their creativity and decision-making skills and also help them explore their hidden talents and discover new areas of interest. The students enjoyed the day by enthusiastically taking part in this fun learning package. The event gave a platform to the students to demonstrate their culinary knowledge and skills related to developing and following a recipe, preparation of a dish, and displaying the dish. All the students participated wholeheartedly in the event. Overall, 4 houses participated in the competition. Here the participants had to prepare an eatable without using the fire. So, the participants of Red House prepared Doughnuts, the Blue house served Nimbu Sana, Green house came up with yummy chocolate cake & yellow house served Bhelpuri. The results were: The first position was secured by Red house: Riya Parihar - 8 (A) Siya Diwakar - 8 (A) Apoorva Mer - 7 (B) Swaleha Ansari - 8 (B) The second position was secured by Blue house: Ananya Pandey - 8 (B) Soumyata Prasad – 8 (B) Adeeba Saifi – 8 (A) Lavya Kandpal – 7 (C) The third position was secured by Green house: Sonakshi Bhakuni – 7 (B) Sanvi Manola – 7 (B) Nidhi Palaria – 8 (A) Bhumi Gupta – 8 (A) Congratulations to all the winners!!'See also:
