'The Uni-Food Technic Pin-bone Systems (known in Norwegian as a bein napper) remove bones in salmon and trout fillets efficiently and effectively. The bone removal machines are built in a strong stainless steel construction and all parts used are made in FDA approved materials. Our models range from 10 to 50 fillets/min depending on size and species. Our Pin-bone Removers are gentle to the fillets which means that they minimize gaping issues. When running fish post rigor no broken bones are left in the fillets. Our innovative Pin-bone Systems can be used for both fresh and smoked products. The machines can be delivered with a wide set of options depending on the customers’ different needs: WATER SAVING SYSTEM Choose the Water Saving System which ensures that the pin-bone machine consumes water only when processing fish. RAISING ROLLERS Choose the Raising Rollers to achieve a maximum pin-boning result when processing very fresh fillets. The rollers raise the pin-bones in the fillets including pin-bones below flesh surface making it easier for the pin-bone rollers to get hold of the bones. ACTIVE TAIL SYSTEM Choose the Active Tail System which is designed to lower and raise the rollers. With this system the rollers will elevate before reaching the end of the tail, ensuring higher yield and that the tail part will not get stuck in the roller. IN-FEED ROLLER GUIDE SYSTEM Choose the In-feed Roller Guide System to make sure that small fish and fish with very slippery skin are held in place on the conveyor belt. This minimizes gaping issues. NECK-BONE ROLLERS Choose the Neck-bone Rollers to make sure that all the bones in the neck of the fillet will be removed without losing yield. COMPLETE VACUUM SYSTEM Our Pin-bone Removers can be provided with an innovative vacuum system to achieve a cleaner fillet and improve the working environment. The Vacuum System consists of a Cyclone Tank that collects the water and pin-bones from the Pin-bone Remover. The Cyclone Tank is connected to a Mono Pump for emptying the tank. This is done while keeping vacuum on the system. That ensures constant suction at the rollers. Thus, there is no risk of backflow and contamination of the rollers. The Vacuum Suction Heads are mounted on the roller heads. The Suction Heads ensure that water- and bone-remains will not end up on the floor. The machine has a waterproof cabinet for the electrical parts. The machines are very easy to adjust for different fish sizes. The Quick-release function makes it easy to remove the conveyor belt for cleaning. The modules can be moved sideways making them easier and faster to clean. The knife holder can be disassembled and spare parts can easily be installed. IN- AND OUT-FEED CONVEYOR The four and six lane pin-bone removers can be provided with an automatic in–feed conveyor for splitting up the fillets from two to four or six lanes. The out-feed conveyor is collecting the fillets in two lanes after pin-bone removal.'
