'Anand Ramanathan, Partner at Deloitte India, talks about the opportunities of Food Processing Industry in the country. He says that the levels of food processing in India are comparatively lower to other countries in the world. The current food processing percentage stands about 10% in India which signifies that there is a lot of potential for growth. The same can be driven and achieved by growth in demand from the retail sector. Potential growth also depends on the consumers need for more convenience based products and food. Given the current circumstances, there has been a greater demand in ‘pre-cooked’ or ‘ready to eat’ meals. He goes on to add that the country needs to compete globally where currently the industry thrives at 40 to 50%. #AnandRamanathan #FoodProcessingIndustry Subscribe To ET Now For Latest Updates On Stocks, Business, Trading | ► https://goo.gl/SEjvK3 Subscribe Now To Our Network Channels :- Times Now : http://goo.gl/U9ibPb The NewsHour Debate : http://goo.gl/LfNgFF To Stay Updated Download the Times Now App :- Android Google Play : https://goo.gl/zJhWjC Apple App Store : https://goo.gl/d7QBQZ Social Media Links :- Twitter - http://goo.gl/hA0vDt Facebook - http://goo.gl/5Lr4mC G+ - http://goo.gl/hYxrmj Website - www.etnownews.com'
