'The Indian market size is growing and at the same time western markets are either stagnant or shrinking. To feed the increasing interest either for food importing nations to source from India or for people wanting to expand their food business, the food processing ministry of India is coming up with World Food India 2017. Scheduled to be held in November in Indian capital New Delhi, the event will provide a platform for global companies to interact with domestic companies, will give access to all Indian states to showcase their produce, policies, infrastructure and what tie ups they are interested in. With Over 30 international countries coming in with business delegations, some with even ministerial delegations, the event will have partner and focused countries, sectorial meets and a lot of B2B and G2G networking. Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Union Minister of Food Processing, India, talks to MIG TV about the event.'
