The standard method involves mixing normal slime with air-dry clay (Daiso or Model Magic). I think this is the only DIY butter slime recipe that doesn\'t require any clay at all.   This method is quite a bit cheaper, which is useful if you\'re making butter slime to sell. If you don\'t want to use pudding mix then you can also use cornstarch and food colouring, which brings your costs down further. I find that most DIY slimes tend to be quite \"forgiving\" in that you don\'t need to measure things precisely. However this DIY slime is an exception so please be sure to measure everything out exactly using tablespoon or teaspoons (and don\'t get the two mixed up).
