'Marek Chapanionek (pictured), 44, was defrosting his freezer late at night when the woodland creature scuttled into his kitchen in Horton, Northamptonshire. The \'aggressive\' animal then charged around the property, chomping on snacks in his wife Caroline\'s handbag, rustling through draws and terrifying his cat. After a chase around the house, the father-of-one eventually lured the raccoon into a cat cage and kept it there until the RSPCA arrived the following day. Mr Marek, who described the raccoon as \'aggressive\' and \'hyperactive\' said: \'It was terrifying, because he moved so slowly.
