Today we are attending San Gennaro Festival in Little Italy, in New York City to taste amazing Italian street food. The feast of San Gennaro event takes place for 11 days along Mulberry Street in Manhattan. The festival started in 1926 when immigrants from Napoli brought the tradition to the US. Italian food is one of the most popular cuisines in the United States We tried delicious Italian street food specialties, including wood fire Pizza Margarita; brick oven Pizza Napolitana, Italian hero with Italian sausage, peppers and onions; Stuffed Artichoke, Italian meatballs, pastas, buffalo mozzarella, cannoli, aperol spritz, espresso, and much more!
