Rapidly expanding population growth, increasing tourism, rising disposable income levels and urbanization are all contributing to a rise in food and beverage consumption across GCC states. The region is eating more than it ever has done before and in response Oman is ploughing significant public and private sector investment into enhancing the sultanate’s food processing, packaging, agricultural and fishing capacity.'
