'Easy One Pot Green Bean Casserole'

'So easy to make, I filmed this while making dinner on Thanksgiving day! Ingredients: -1.5- 2 pounds of fresh green beans -3 cloves of garlic, minced -Half a white or yellow onion -1 Pound of mushrooms -2 Tablespoons of all purpose flour -4 Tablespoons of butter -1 cup of heavy cream mixed with 1/2 cup of milk -1 cup of chicken broth -1 Teaspoon of garlic powder or to taste -1 Teaspoon of onion powder or to taste -Salt and pepper to taste -A 6 oz bag of crispy fried onions When adding green beans to the pot of mushroom sauce, you can soften them for 6-8 minutes or 10-12 depending how you like them or if you\'re in a hurry. I slightly overcooked mine, so I did not bake them, only broiled in order to get the onions crispier. If you would like to bake the casserole, simply cook the beans for about 6 minutes and then transfer to a baking dish, cover with foil and bake at 350 for about 20 minutes then uncover, add crispy onions and broil until desired brown-ness. If making ahead for another day and you let it cool completely, heat at 350 for 35-40 minutes or until heated through. -Serves about 8-10 people'
