'Todd English Food Hall Manila SM Aura Skypark BGC Review. Todd English Food Hall is the first celebrity chef restaurant in the Philippines which opened in March 2014 putting Manila on the map for culinary sophistication. Todd English Food Hall is the first international branch of the Plaza Food Hall at the legendary Plaza Hotel in New York and is a collaboration between Celebrity Chef William Todd English and Mesa group owner Rikki Dee. The Mesa Group of restaurants includes Mesa Kai, Ebun, Mangan, Kitchen, and Krokodile Grille. Chef William Todd English is best known for his restaurant Olives in both Boston and Las Vegas and his TV Cooking Show, Food Trip with Todd English on PBS. Todd English Food Hall is located at the Skypark of SM Aura in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig and has nine live cooking stations: Salad, Charcuterie, Sushi, Raw Bar, Asian, Flatbread Pizza, Pasta, Grill, Wine and Tapas, and Dessert. We highly recommend the Fresh Raw Oysters, Salmon Sashimi and Charred Octopus to start. The freshly shucked oysters are served on a bed of ice with a spiced vinaigrette. Specialties are the freshly made pastas and flatbread pizzas. We enjoyed their Linguini Vongole and Truffle Funghi Flat Bread Pizza. From their ocean grill must try are their Risotto Paella and Miso Glaze Salmon.
