'In this video, I head to Kalibo, in the Aklan Province of the Philippines. Here, I head to Bakhawan Eco-Park. This giant restored mangrove area is home to a kilometer of beautiful walkway. However, the highlight for me was trying tamilok - or woodworm or shipworm. Tamilok isn\'t actually a worm at all. It is a mollusk, similar to an oyster. At the Bakhawan Eco-Park, visitors can pay 300 PHP and see how the tamilok are harvested, and then dine on the interesting creatures! Be warned - this is only for the brave! I had a great time making a Filipino travel vlog in Kalibo. As an American, and a foreigner, traveling in the Philippines, I had a great time. Thank you to all those who I met while vlogging in the #Philippines 2019. If you want to know what to do in Kalibo, or looking for foreigner vloggers in the Philippines, be sure to check out this video! We are a foreigner trying filipino foods and tamilok! This might be one of the craziest foods in the world! Be sure to subscribe, as we have many more vlogs in the Philippines coming up!
