'Welcome back folks! After another month of not posting anything on here, I finally managed to finish this (rather lengthy) video about creative / artsy food ideas I tried over the past weeks! It still takes me soooo much time to edit videos and I know that my voice over audio is beyond gruesome, but I just needed to share this little video nonetheless because LE CONTENT. And what content it is indeed, guys, I LOVE artsy-aesthetic-creative stuff and these 3 recipe / food ideas literally push all my buttons. I absolutely LOVED trying these recipes and if you also enjoy being a bit more extra with your food from time to time, these 3 creative food ideas might be entertaining to you, too, hehe. As always, let me know how you liked the recipes and the overall video and thanks for sticking around even if I take 927272047 bazillion years to produce new videos! Love y\'all! INSTAGRAM: @choartemi RECIPE INGREDIENTS & EXACT MEASUREMENTS: #1 Panda Smoothie Bowl light base: - honeydew melon (cut and frozen overnight) - 1 ripe banana - lemon juice darker base: - handful frozen blueberries (and / or blackberries) - some fresh blackberries - 1 tsp cocoa powder (optional: dates or maple syrup) toppings: - unsweetened desiccated coconut - fresh blackberries - cashews blend bases separately and assemble your bowl by creating a panda-like face shape with the darker base onto the lighter base (ears, darker spots around the panda eyes,..). use desiccated coconut directly on the lighter base for fur-like effect and cashew bits for the eyes. #2 Garden Focaccia dough: - 325g flour (I was using 280g regular spelt flour and about 45g wholewheat spelt flour) - 1 tsp salt - 1 tsp dry active yeast - 200ml lukewarm water - 2 tbsps olive oil - 1/2 tsp sugar toppings: - fresh chives - spring onion - cherry tomatoes - yellow carrot slices - red onion - radishes - black olives - pumpkin and sunflower seeds - fresh parsley leaves - more olive oil - seasonings (salt, pepper, ...) make dough by dissolving yeast in lukewarm water first, then mixing wet and dry ingredients. knead into a dough (rather sticky so maybe use a spatula instead of your hands!), let rise in a warm space for about 1 hours and transfer to baking dish when the dough doubled in size. decorate your focaccia dough with veggies, herbs and seeds and coat in more olive oil. add seasonings of choice and bake at 200°C for about 30-40 mins. serve fresh and preferably alongside your favorite dip. #3 Cashew Coconut Buttercream Painted Oat Cookies (original idea from lovely @bowlofcharms!) cookies: - 100g oats - 1/3 tsp baking powder - vanilla - 2 tbsps coconut blossom sugar - 50g natural cashew butter - 50g maple syrup (or rice syrup but depending on the thickness of your syrup you may need to add a splash of plant milk as well if the cookie dough seems too dry!) cashew coconut buttercream (I used 1/2 of this recipe I found online: https://www.yummytology.com/the-ultimate-vegan-cashew-cream-frosting/ ) additional natural food coloring: - matcha powder (green) - berry juice / blended freeze-dried berries (red / pink) - blue spirulina powder (blue) - turmeric (yellow) - cocoa powder (brown / black) also: - vegan white chocolate melted with 1 tsp coconut oil, colored with matcha, spirulina and freeze-dried berry powder (optionally replaceable with regular powdered sugar icing) prepare the cashew coconut buttercream beforehand. soak cashews overnight and blend with remaining ingredients. place buttercream in the fridge overnight and beat up until fluffy before using. blend oats into oat flour and combine other cookie dough ingredients. knead into a dough, place in the fridge for about 30mins, roll and cut out desired cookie shapes. bake in a pre-heated oven at 180°C for about 8-10mins. let the cookies cool completely and frost them with the vegan white chocolate. let cool again and paint buttercream onto the cookies. store in the fridge or freezer to make sure the buttercream art won\'t smudge. link to Rena\'s (@bowlofcharms on YouTube and Instagram) video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gadCxieWp9E&t=607s MUSIC USED: Reggie San Miguel - Ruby Grapefruit - https://thmatc.co/?l=3B621FA0 Beats by Egomi - Purple Skies - https://thmatc.co/?l=D03D27AF Reggie San Miguel - Autumn Stroll - https://thmatc.co/?l=746771CF ninjoi. - Where Do I Go - https://thmatc.co/?l=6551577C Mark Generous - Meganne - https://thmatc.co/?l=0F72CB9C Thanks for watching & lots of love, Artemi'
