'A&Z #1030 - professional eater Randy Santel and friend @Nathan Klein each versus the 3ft Long DC Hot Dog Challenge hosted by Dog Central in Mount Pleasant, Michigan!! @Katina Eats Kilos and I headed to Central and Western Michigan for a long 3-day weekend. We each attempted 3 different restaurant food challenges which were extra delicious!! For challenge #1, we headed to Mount Pleasant, Michigan to attempt the famous 3ft Long DC Hot Dog Challenge hosted by Dog Central which was made popular by being featured on the new reboot of Man vs Food a few years ago with host Casey Webb. It was featured on the Man v. Food: Grand Rapids, Michigan episode and thankfully my competitive eating friend Nathan Klein met up with us so he could attempt the challenge with me. He had already won before, and was trying to beat his previous time PR. We each had 25 short minutes to finish 3 of their foot-long signature hot dogs served over a 1.5lb bed of thick-cut fries and topped with a stack of deep fried onion rings. The challenge included a large fountain drink and we both chose Diet Pepsi. We were each trying to win our $25 hot dog meals free plus sweet t-shirts, $10 cash, and spots on the Wall of Fame.
