'Murphy’s Burger Challenge in Rockford, Illinois!! Thanks everyone for watching this live-streamed food challenge video!! As part of our 3-day President\'s Day weekend, @Katina Eats Kilos and I planned 2 delicious food challenges in Northern Illinois!! For event #1, we traveled to Rockford, Illinois so we could each attempt Murphy\'s Burger Challenge at Murphy\'s Pub in Rockford, Illinois!! I had 1 hour to enjoy a 3lb beef burger patty topped with 8 slices of cheese and 12 slices of bacon. I got 4 slices of Cheddar cheese and 4 slices of Swiss cheese. The burger came with lots of tomato slices, a bunch of pickle spears, and some tasty grilled onions, all between a thick & dense freshly baked bun. The cheeseburger challenge includes over 1lb of fries and the beer drank during this video was just optional. Winners earn the $80 burger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt, a $50 gift certificate to be used later, and a spot on the Wall of Fame. Hundreds of people have attempted the challenge the past 10-12 years that Murphy\'s Burger Challenge has been available, with only 4 previous winners. Thanks for watching this live-streamed video!!
